Braden's Bday Party!

Braden has been excited for his birthday party since........the end of his party last year. LOL. Seriously, though, if he didn't talk about it at least twice a week this summer, I checked him for fever. He chose Jumping Party since it's pretty much one of his three favorite places in the world. He realized in May that he would not be in school on his birthday which meant no bringing cupcakes to school and no passing out invitations to his party in class. Since then, he keeps freaking out on me and begging me to call his friends' parents (whose numbers I don't have) reminding them to come. Summer birthdays when you live away from your family suck, did I mention that? Luckily, a few of his friends were able to make it and he had an AMAZING time (which meant Jay and I had an amazing time, too, hehe).

Landri was a bit shy and clingy for the first 20 minutes

The kids played for about an hour on the bounce houses first. Making them nice and worn out by the time we had cake and ice cream :)

Make a Wish!

He wanted blue cupcakes, so I made BLUE cupcakes (lol)

 The Crew :)
Jay had to move Landri closer to the other kids because she chose to sit by herself at the very end of the long tables (see above pic #3). She does this at school, too :( It makes me so sad!!! She is SUPER shy when she first meets people, but warms up to them after awhile. And L is social at school, but like I said, it takes some time for her to get comfortable. And this was definitely OUTSIDE her comfort zone. Poor kiddo...
But at least there were cupcakes and ice cream!

Is there something on my face?
Buddies!

 Landri being anti-paparazzi

 These kill me!

And then, the most random dance party (to NO MUSIC) ever took place.

And then came presents!

And while that was going on, Landri used the opportunity to steal Bubba's glasses and another cupcake ;)

And then it was back out to run and play!

And lil bit kept up pretty darn well with those big kids...I was proud of her ;)

All in all, pretty fantastic day for our little family!
