2 Days???

Day 2
We were supposed to have a walk-through tonight.

Yeahhhhhhh...no.

When I pulled up at 4:15, this is all that had been done:

While we went inside to see what else had not been touched, the builder found us. Let's just say I was not very polite person. But, we talked and he swore that closing was still on for Friday morning.......not really sure how that's possible, but I had to leave and he and Jay talked for another half hour and went through every single area of the house. Jay seemed positive. I am still scared. Our movers said they had no available dates for over 2 weeks if we have to cancel. We have to be out of the house 100% by Tuesday night. And if they move it back even a few hours Friday, chances are the loan won't be funded by the end of the workday and we would not have the right to move in. And Jay can't take off Monday. And I can't take off Monday AND Tuesday.

This could get ugly...

4-3...

Day 4
They tiled the shower. It will have to be redone because they did not put in the custom decorative tile strip. Awesome. They ripped the fresh laid carpet because they dragged something metal across it. Awesome.  Put up half the rebar for the conrete driveway, sidewalks, walkway.

That's it.

Day 3
Little more.

This was the scene when we arrived. Had to park halfway down our block. LOL....but we were just fine with that!

Our Coach Lights
(been dying to see how these looked with our brick/trim choices!)

Added More to the Kitchen Backsplash

We were so stinkin' excited to see all the workers there painting and cleaning!!!!

Thanksgiving! (Part I)

We went to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving this year, and it was....fabulous :) The kids were thrilled to be around family again and it was so much fun it physically hurt to leave them Thursday night.

To start the trip, these two kids (including one who was making her first long road trip as a potty trained girl) made it from Midland, TX to Cisco, TX without needing to stop! I mean, wow! That is 200 MILES! And it wasn't even for them, it was because we needed gas...lol...So we rewarded them in Wichita Falls with some Dairy Queen :)

Torturing Her Brother

Then, it was on to Lawton to stay in the lovely convention center hotel for the night LOL...needless to say, the kids were ready to let off some steam!

The next morning we got ready to go Marlow to see Jay's family, and Braden decided he wanted to make the beds.

Landri decided she wanted to help.

 It did not end well...
