DFW Trip (Day 3-- Catching Up & Relaxing)

On Wednesday we woke up and had our breakfast at the hotel which is always an exciting adventure LOL....the kids basically ate a gallon of strawberry yogurt and Frosted Flakes and apple juice every morning. Nice.

Then, we went out to Garland, in the neighborhood I used to frequent *quite* often (what up to the 75043! bahaha), to go swimming with a very good friend of mine, Kellie, and her kiddos. We ate lunch and Landri and Braden loved Kellie's two girls. And Braden finally stopped freaking out so much and relaxed enough to actually swim the way he knows how (thank you Kellie!). And, we all got a little bit too red (yes, I used lots of sunscreen, but it happens!) and she was kind enough to give us a bottle of this amazing blue gel (better than Aloe Vera) and we used it up completely over the next few days.

When we got back to the hotel that evening, we went to have dinner at one of our favorites, El Fenix, with dessert at Marble Slab :):):):):) YUMMMMMM

THEY WERE NOT PLEASED WITH ME TAKING PHOTOS
BUT IF YOU WANT ICE CREAM YOU BETTER LET ME!!!! :P

To top off the night, I got to spend a couple of hours (which is NEVER enough!) with my very good friend Nancy! And, bonus, her daughter and I figured out a way to get our kids together at Legoland the next day!!!! We couldn't wait :)
